pickedby.ai is the Google Stack for the AI recommendation era — built for any product, brand, or business that wants to be recommended by AI.

## Core product: AI Visibility Score (0–100)

Measures four dimensions of AI discoverability:

1. **Recognition** (35 pts) — Does AI know your product exists by name?
2. **Category Ranking** (35 pts) — Does your product appear in "best of" AI responses for your category?
3. **Co-Recommendation** (20 pts) — Do trusted sources and communities recommend your product alongside other known products?
4. **Web Signals** (10 pts) — Does your site have the structured signals (llms.txt, schema markup) that help AI systems index and understand you?

Score formula: Recognition 35 + Category 35 + CoRec 20 + Web 10 = 100

## Direct AI Probe (Phase 1 flagship feature)

pickedby.ai sends real queries to Perplexity and Gemini (beta) to measure whether each AI recommends your product. Results are logged as probe_logs and contribute to your Probe Score — a more accurate signal than web crawl alone.

- **✓ Recommended** — AI explicitly named your product in response
- **◎ Known** — AI recognizes your product but did not recommend it
- **✗ Unknown** — AI has no record of your product

- **INVISIBLE (<36)** 🔴 — AI has little to no awareness of your product
